OREANDA-NEWS. The Russian Government instructed the Federal Air Transport Agency from March 27, 2020 to stop regular and charter flights, except for flights for the export of Russians. The corresponding order was given following a meeting of the Presidium of the Coordination Council under the Government of the Russian Federation to combat the spread of new coronavirus infection on the territory of the Russian Federation on March 25, 2020.

The Ministry of Transport and the Russian Foreign Ministry will create a plan for the removal of citizens from abroad by March 30 involving aircraft of the Ministry of Defense and civil airlines. In addition, the Foreign Ministry was instructed to provide assistance to citizens located in foreign countries until they return to Russia at the expense of funds received by foreign agencies of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs from income-generating activities.

It's noted that information about citizens who have been issued an order on isolation must be sent to medical organizations for dynamic monitoring of them with the appropriate organization of work of medical institutions.
