OREANDA-NEWS. The standard for the implementation in Russia of rescue cards, which will contain all the information about the car necessary for rescuers, was developed at the All-Russian Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations (VNII GOChS) of the EMERCOM of Russia.

"Scientists of the institute also presented the first developed standard for vehicle rescue cards (" Safety in emergencies. Vehicle rescue card. Terms and definitions. General requirements ")", - according to the official website of the institute.

According to experts, as a rule, at the scene of an emergency, the emergency services personnel do not have the opportunity to obtain the necessary information about the emergency vehicle in order to provide assistance promptly, efficiently and safely.

The vehicle rescue card will become such a document. It will contain all the necessary information not only about the car itself, but also recommendations for services on what to do with it in the event of an accident.

"VNII GOChS has developed a draft national standard, which contains general requirements for the rescue card, common terms and definitions, as well as general requirements for the codification of the information contained, marking and identification of all vehicles in operation on the territory of the Russian Federation," website of the institute.
