OREANDA-NEWS. The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Tawazun Emirate Fund are planning to discuss orders and planned sales of Aurus executive cars in November, the press service of the ministry told the Russian media.

“The visit of the President of Russia to the UAE, undoubtedly, gave an additional impetus to the development of cooperation and aroused special interest in the brand. Therefore, together with Tawazun, concrete actions are being developed to develop Aurus for the coming year. With regard to orders for cars and planned sales volumes, we’ll be more specific discuss with colleagues from Tavazun involved in the Aurus project at the next board of directors of Aurus, which will be held in late November in Abu Dhabi", the Ministry of Industry and Trade said.

They also noted the "huge interest" of the Middle East countries in the Aurus brand. The head of the ministry, Denis Manturov, previously reported that since February 2018, more than 600 pre-orders have been received for Aurus cars. The cost of the car in the basic configuration will be 18 million rubles.
