OREANDA-NEWS The regulator has extended the ban on flights to airports in the south and center of the country for the 42nd time, air carriers are recommended to use alternative routes, in particular from Sochi, Mineralnye Vody and Stavropol
Flights to the airports of the following cities are temporarily restricted: Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista.
The rest of the airports of the Russian Federation operate normally.
All changes in the schedule of airports and airlines should be clarified on the official websites of airports and airlines.
Earlier, on November 7, the flight restrictions regime was extended until November 15.
On October 17, the head of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers Mikhail Mishustin, during an operational meeting with his deputies, announced that the Russian government would allocate more than 2 billion rubles to support temporarily closed airports in the country. According to him, such support will allow preserving airport teams, as well as resuming flight services at the earliest opportunity.
