OREANDA-NEWS. The new MS-21 passenger airliner was demonstrated at the MAKS-2019.  The aircraft boasts its large and roomy cabin.

 According to media representatives, the aircraft was demonstrated at the International Aviation and Space Salon in the city of Zhukovsky near Moscow.  During the announcement of the public, three functioning aircraft were demonstrated.  Currently operating aircraft are being tested power systems.

 The medium-haul liner surpasses all foreign counterparts in key parameters.  It is lighter, has a composite wing with a large elongation, which improves aerodynamics, and its fuselage is wider than that of Boeing and Airbus.  Experts are convinced that the introduction of innovative solutions will provide the MS-21 with the best technical characteristics among its class aircraft.

 It is noted that the Russian aircraft boasts a fairly roomy cabin, which can accommodate 211 passengers.  The closest competitor from Russian developers was able to accommodate only 180 people.
