OREANDA-NEWS Poland has suspended the passage of Ukrainian trucks without permits for international cargo transportation, the customs Service of Ukraine reported on the Telegram channel.

"From 00:00 (01:00 Moscow time - ed.) on July 1, the Polish side suspended the entry and exit passes from Poland for Ukrainian cargo vehicles that do not have permits for international cargo transportation. Checkpoints on other sections of the border are operating as usual," the Customs Service of Ukraine said in a statement.

At the same time, the department did not specify what this is related to.
Ukraine and the EU signed an agreement on "transport visa-free travel" in June 2022. It provides an opportunity for Ukrainian drivers to travel across the EU countries without obtaining a visa, and also eliminates the need to obtain transit permits. On June 20, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal announced that Ukraine and the European Union had extended the agreement for a year.
