OREANDA-NEWS   As part of the Geneva motor show, the European premiere of new Russian luxury cars Aurus Senat Limousine and Aurus Senat took place.

Cars Aurus was designed as an armored variant, and without any special protection. Both models were put into production at the same time, the press service of the Ministry of industry and trade. As part of the European premiere presented Aurus Senat Limousine, which is available only in armored version and Aurus Senat in standard version.

"At the moment, it is important to establish the processes of increasing production in the development of the Aurus brand. The prospects of the brand are obvious, the priorities include the involvement of official trade Russian and foreign partners, and in General, the output of Aurus cars to international markets," – said the Minister of industry and trade of Russia Denis Manturov.

Models Aurus Senat Limousine and Aurus Senat offer a combination of four-wheel drive and hybrid installation, which is designed taking into account the climatic and road features of Russia. The powerful V8 engine, created by Russian engineers specifically for Aurus cars, is paired with an equally powerful electric motor.

This allows the Aurus Senat Limousine models weighing approximately 6.9 tons to accelerate to 100 km/h in 9 seconds. The Aurus Senat sedan with less weight per unit of power takes only 6 seconds. In accordance with international safety requirements, Aurus vehicles are equipped with all the necessary systems of active and passive safety, including the function of active assistance to the driver ADAS (advanced driver assistant system), electronic stability control, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking system, collision avoidance system with pedestrian recognition, traffic sign recognition system, blind spot tracking system and other features to avoid accidents on the road.

Recall, Aurus cars became available for pre-orders in Russia, starting from August 2018, which were accepted by the company"Aurus". Official trading partners of the Aurus brand - "Avilon" and "Panavto" began to accept pre-orders for Aurus cars from February 15, 2019.
