OREANDA-NEWS  Divers in Yakutia discovered a ship that sank during a flood on the Lena River, the decision to raise the ships will be made by the LORP company, the press service of the regional rescue service reports.

Earlier, a criminal case was opened in Yakutia after two ships of PJSC LORP sank in May in the Zhigansky district on the Lena River.

"Divers of the diving search and rescue unit examined the place where two ships belonging to LORP sank this spring," the press service said.

It is noted that on the third of July, divers on the Lena River using side-view sonar located the ships. "The vessels lie at a depth of 10 to 14 meters, parallel to the shore, next to each other. The decision on lifting will be made by LORP," the message says.
