OREANDA-NEWS Moscow is the leader among the Russian regions in terms of the market of new trucks in January-November 2018, reported in the press service of the analytical Agency "AUTOSTAT".

"According to the analytical Agency "AUTOSTAT", at the end of 11 months of 2018, the market volume of new trucks in Russia amounted to 72.8 thousand units, which is 4.5% higher than the result of a year ago. At the same time, about half (49.6%) of it is in only 10 regions. The largest regional market for new trucks in our country is Moscow: during the reporting period, its volume in the capital reached 7 thousand 340 cars, showing a drop of 3.4%," the report said.

It is specified that the second place in this rating is the Moscow region with the result of 6 thousand 821 units and market growth of 34%. The best among the non-capital of constituent entities of the Russian Federation became Tatarstan implemented 4 145 thousand trucks (a decrease of 1.8%), followed by Saint Petersburg (3 239 thousand; the decrease is 10.1%). Closed the five leaders of the Khanty-Mansiysk JSC (2 thousand 954 pieces, a decrease of 24.6%).

"The top 10 Russian regions in terms of market volume of new trucks for 11 months of 2018 also included: Chelyabinsk region (2 thousand 765 pieces; growth of 24.5%), Nizhny Novgorod region (2 thousand 515 pieces; growth of 26.7%), Smolensk region (2 thousand 181 pieces; decrease of 12.7%), Krasnodar region (2 thousand 171 pieces; decrease of 6.6%) and Sverdlovsk region (1 thousand 896 pieces; growth of 25.6%)",-added in the press service.

The most popular model in November was LADA Granta, the implementation of which amounted to 13.3 thousand units. In second place was the leader of the shifted Oct – LADA Vesta (9.9 thousand units), and closes the top three of the KIA Rio, the owners of which were 8.5 thousand Russians. In the TOP 5 November bestsellers also got two Hyundai models-crossover Creta (6.8 thousand PCs.) and sedan Solaris (5.4 thousand PCs.).
