OREANDA-NEWS Investments in the road network of the Republic of Altai in the framework of the national project "Safe and quality roads" are planned in the next six years in the amount of more than 12 billion rubles. This was reported on Thursday in the press service of the government of the region.

"The preliminary amount of funds from the Federal budget from 2019 to 2024 is 12 billion 183 million rubles. Of these, the development of the road network of the Gorno-Altai agglomeration is expected to send 780 million rubles, the remaining roads in the region-11 billion 403 million rubles, " the Department said.

The Ministry of Regional Development of the region has developed a regional project of the Republic of Altai, which in turn is part of the Federal projects "Road network" and "System-wide measures for the development of the road sector." In turn, they are included in the national project "Safe and quality roads". As noted in the government, the purpose of investment, including not only to increase security, but also to create comfortable conditions in the tourist mountainous region, so that guests can more easily reach their destinations.

Already in 2019, the funds planned for the implementation of the national project in the Republic will amount to more than 1.2 billion rubles. The work is expected to be carried out at 26 sites, including 15 sites of local importance of the Altai-Gorno agglomeration and 11 of regional importance. Thus, it is planned to reconstruct the entrance of Talda-Tungur (Natural Park "Belukha") on a plot of 1.3 km.

"For all objects of local importance of the Gorno-Altai agglomeration in 2019 it is planned to repair. Design work has been started, the approximate date of completion of the state examination of the reliability of the estimated cost is March 2019," the Department said.

The national project "Safe and high-quality roads" will cover 104 cities forming agglomerations, 83 subjects of the Russian Federation. In particular, within the framework of the project implementation, by 2024 (compared to 2017) the share of roads of regional importance in the normative state should increase from 43.1% to 50.9%, the length of roads of urban agglomerations in the normative state is doubled (up to 85%). Financing of the national project by the regions of the Russian Federation for six years will be more than 4 trillion rubles, the Federal budget will send more than 440 billion rubles.
