OREANDA-NEWS  Mercedes-Benz Rus announced on November 8 the recall of 1166 Mercedes-Benz GLC, CLS and E-Class cars. According to the press service of Rosstandart, subject to recall 1152 car Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class produced from April to July 2018.

The reason for the recall is the strap tab on the extreme rear seats, which can be drawn into the space between the trim and the rack and the rear side trim. In order to correct the defect on the vehicles, it is necessary to integrate an additional buffer element into the lining of the racks.

14 Mercedes-Benz CLS and E-Class cars sold from October 2017 to April 2018 are also subject to recall. The reason for the recall of these vehicles is the calibration of the passenger classification system for the front passenger seat, which may not conform to the specification. The recall program provides for the replacement of the front passenger seat airbag.

Authorized representatives of the manufacturer "Mercedes-Benz Rus" will inform the owners of Mercedes-Benz vehicles subject to review by sending letters and/or by phone about the need to provide the vehicle to the nearest dealership for repair work. All repairs will be carried out free of charge for the owners.

Earlier in October, the company "Mercedes-Benz Rus" announced the recall of 123 Mercedes-Benz CLS cars produced in 2017-2018. The reason for the recall is that the rivet connection of the seat belt body cover on the front seats may not meet the specification.

In the first ten months of 2018, the Russian dealers of Mercedes-Benz sold 31290 cars, which is 3% more compared to the same period last year. Thus, the Stuttgart brand remains the leader in the premium segment of the Russian car market.

In the end of october Datsun has decided to recall 211 of its vehicles in Russia. Under the service campaign were models on-DO and mi-DO, produced from 3 to 20 April 2018, according to Rosstandart.
