OREANDA-NEWS. Mercedes-Benz Rus, the official representative of Mercedes-Benz in Russia, recalls 489 cars of the E-class (type 213), S-class (type 222 and type 217), G-class (type 463), AMG GT (type 290). It reports on vehicles sold from May 2018 to April 2019, the Rosstandart said in a statement.

"The reason for the recall of vehicles: the elastomeric material of the inlet oil pipe of the turbocharger may not meet the specification", the department said. On vehicles that fall into the recall program, it is necessary to replace the turbocharger oil supply pipe. Work will be carried out free of charge for car owners.
