OREANDA-NEWS  Production of Lada cars in brown and blue colors will be resumed this year, Maxim Sokolov, president of the company, told RIA Novosti.

"Yes, this year we expect a few more shades in our color scheme. For example, coriander and blue for a number of our cars," he noted. As specified in the press service of AvtoVAZ, we are talking about the Vesta, Granta and Niva models.

Now the white "glacier" color is available for all Lada models, as well as the black "panther". In addition, Granta is produced in silver "platinum" and dark gray "Borneo", Vesta is also in "platinum", and Niva Travel and Niva Legend are in dark green.

AvtoVAZ owns production sites in Tolyatti, Izhevsk and St. Petersburg. In the middle of May last year, French Renault transferred its share in AvtoVAZ (67.69%) to the state ownership of the Russian Federation. Now the brand consists of four model families: Vesta, Largus, Granta and Niva. Sales of the brand's cars in 2023 amounted to 352.6 thousand (an increase of almost 2 times in annual terms).
