OREANDA-NEWS Transport police officers are checking after the collision of a motor ship and a boat in St. Petersburg, there were no injuries as a result of the incident, the Transport Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Northwestern Federal District reported.

The incident occurred in the city center on the Winter Groove last weekend.

"During the departure to the scene by the transport police, it was established that the boat, approaching the entrance to the Winter Groove, stopped, allowing other vessels to pass. A motor ship followed behind the malomer, which did not have time to stop and continued to move by inertia, as a result of which it made a bulk with its bow into the stern of the boat. There are no casualties, there is no oil spill," the message says.
It is noted that the ship was not damaged, and the stern lamp of the boat was damaged.
