In New York, a Plane from Moscow Was Checked because of False Report of a Bomb Threat
OREANDA-NEWS. At the John F. Kennedy International Airport (New York) officers checked the message about the threat of an explosion in a Russian airplane, which arrived from Moscow. This was reported by Fox News.
There were about 250 people on board. The airline Aeroflot called the threat false. “There was a threat about a foreign object on board. The information was false, everything was checked, the plane is being prepared for departure, and soon we will start landing,” an Aeroflot employee told RIA Novosti news agency. The return flight was postponed by 3.5 hours.
Passenger Anastasia Shevchenko told TASS that for about an hour all those who arrived were kept on the plane. After that they were led outdoors, divided into groups and checked with the help of a dog. Then they were sent by buses to the terminal.
