OREANDA-NEWS The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation and Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean government, Georgy Muradov, told RIA Novosti that he proposed Turkey to resume commercial sea traffic between the ports of Crimea and Turkey.
"Turkey is very aggressively discussing with our country issues of maritime transportation, including a grain deal and parallel imports of goods from third countries," he said.
Muradov added that the establishment of regular commercial shipping with the ports of Syria is also in the future.
Ferry service between Crimea and Turkey ceased in 2017 without any negotiations.
Prior to that, Turkish Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu, during a meeting with the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, said that Turkey was imposing sanctions on ships arriving in the country from the ports of Crimea.
Earlier in Crimea, the talks between Erdogan and Zelensky were called a failure.
