OREANDA-NEWS  Hundreds of Russian tourists were stranded due to heavy rains at Dubai International Airport without food and water. This is reported by the Telegram channel Mash.

It is clarified that due to bad weather, all flights to Russia were postponed for a day, but the waiting people were not provided with basic necessities. In addition, they will also pay for hotels at their own expense. At the same time, many Russians have children in their arms. They have been in the air harbor for the 17th hour.

According to Mash, Ural Airlines passengers were released from the plane. The day before, the flight landed urgently in Abu Dhabi, after which people could not be taken to the airport.

Earlier it became known that about 2.5 thousand Russians are waiting for flights postponed due to heavy rains in the UAE. At the same time, the head of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) Maya Lomidze assured that passengers were offered accommodation and meals.
