OREANDA-NEWS  Proposals on financing the construction of the Chelyabinsk — Yekaterinburg high-speed railway should be prepared by the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Transport. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed to include the Chelyabinsk — Yekaterinburg high-speed railway in the comprehensive infrastructure plan.

President Vladimir Putin instructed to develop a plan for the development of the main infrastructure in the may decree. Its items should be implemented by the end of 2024. 

However, according to media reports, the name of the project of the Chelyabinsk — Yekaterinburg high-speed railway in the plan is marked with a special icon. The highway between the cities of millions is possible, if it is built on the funds of private investors. Federal money will be given if the organizers prove the socio-economic effectiveness of this highway.

Earlier in Moscow declared that on Chelyabinsk — Yekaterinburg high-speed railway there is no money. Meanwhile, on the Kazan — Moscow high-speed railway money was found. If the on Chelyabinsk — Yekaterinburg high-speed railway is still built, from Yekaterinburg to Chelyabinsk and back can be reached in just one hour and 10 minutes.  

Earlier it was reported that the consortium "German initiative" seriously interested in the project of the Chelyabinsk — Yekaterinburg high-speed railway, which will connect Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg. The first meeting took place at the Innoprom exhibition, where negotiations were held between the Governor of Chelyabinsk region Boris Dubrovsky and the Head of Siemens in Russia Dietrich Meller. Then the "Companies of the German initiative for high-speed railway in Russia" received documents that should help them to get a complete picture of the Ural highway project.

Recall that their proposals were also voiced by representatives of China and Italy. Each partner has its own advantages that will help to make the high-speed railway the most functional and effective. As representatives of the Ural team say, all investments and all partners are important.
