OREANDA-NEWS.The American manufacturer Ford introduced the track version of the GT supercar, which will allow the owner to "gain experience as close as possible to driving a car for 24 Hours of Le Mans." The car is intended only for driving on the track, circulation is 45 copies. 

The car was created based on its sports "big brother", but due to the fact that now the engineers did not look at the regulations and prohibitions, the new product was lighter and more powerful. In addition, the car was equipped with a double spoiler, a massive rear diffuser and a larger front splitter. Aerodynamic improvements of the body helped to increase the downforce GT Mk II on 181 kg. 

Officially, the car was presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It is not yet known exactly how the company will choose future owners and when they can get their copies of the Ford GT Mk II - so far the manufacturer has revealed only the cost of the new item: 1.2 million dollars.
