OREANDA-NEWS  Leasing contracts for the supply of domestic aircraft and helicopters to Russian airlines were signed in the amount of 274.9 billion rubles."Contracts between lessors, explants and manufacturers have been concluded," Denis Manturov, head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, told RIA Novosti.

In January, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed Manturov to urgently complete the work on placing orders for aircraft at Russian enterprises.

Investment projects will be financed at the expense of the National Welfare Fund at a rate not exceeding 1.5 percent per annum.

"Within the framework of the three signed passports of investment projects for leasing civil vessels, a total of five contracts with suppliers have been signed," Manturov stressed.

In 2023-2025, Aeroflot will lease 63 aircraft: 18 MS-21, 34 SSJ-NEW and 11 Tu-214 – for 175.4 billion rubles. Aurora Airlines will receive 39 Russian aircraft worth 55 billion rubles.
