OREANDA-NEWS. Missile destroyer of the Chinese Navy "Xi'an" arrived in St. Petersburg, where he will take part in the Main Naval Parade. This was reported on Wednesday in the press service of the Western Military District.
In Russia, the Chinese navy together with the crew of the Indian frigate Tarkash, which will arrive in St. Petersburg on July 25, will visit the ship No. 1 of the Navy cruiser Aurora and lay flowers on the Piskarevsky memorial to Leningradians who died during the Great Patriotic War.
Missile Destroyer of the Chinese Navy "Xi'an" - one of the novelties of the Chinese fleet, as reported by the State Shipbuilding Corporation. "Xi'an" became the sixth missile destroyer of the PRC Navy. The ship was commissioned in 2015. On board are anti-aircraft missile system, the installation of missile launch and combat systems. The crew of the ship consists of 250 soldiers.
"On July 25, the ships "Xi'an" and" Tarkash "(Indian frigate) will take part in the dress rehearsal of the Main Naval Parade, and on July 28 - in the very parade.
