OREANDA-NEWS  In Russia, car sales have increased recently. In April, 75 thousand people got cars — this is almost three times more than a year ago, according to the analytical agency "Autostat". At the same time, sales growth is shown not only by domestic and Chinese brands, but also, oddly enough, those brands that left the Russian market a year ago. We are talking, in particular, about KIA and Toyota. E1.RU I decided to find out which of the once popular cars can now be found in the salons of Yekaterinburg and how much money they will have to pay for them.

Under the guise of buyers, we went to the official dealers of KIA, Toyota and Volkswagen. Before that, we were at car dealerships in early January. In four months there has been more choice, and prices have decreased slightly, although compared to two years ago they are still very high.

If in winter we did not find almost any new cars (with the exception of domestic Lada and Niva) cheaper than 2.5 million rubles, now with such a budget it is quite possible to pick up something. Just be prepared to pay a couple hundred thousand more than indicated on the price tag.

As explained E1.RU an expert on the car market, blogger Nikita Autukhov, it is naive to expect that the price indicated in the car dealership will be final.

— In any case, each car dealership puts additional equipment and earns money on it. About 300 thousand on average can be safely added. But here, of course, everything depends on the particular salon and on how honest he is," Nikita Autukhov said.
