OREANDA-NEWS  "AvtoVAZ" conducts a large-scale review of Lada Vesta because of the inconsistency of the tread pattern on the main wheels and on the spare wheel, explained RIA Novosti representative of the company.

Rosstandart earlier on Tuesday announced the recall in Russia 41,507 thousand cars Lada Vesta for painting the spare wheel drive. Cars sold from July 2017 to the present time are subject to recall. The reason for the recall of cars is the revealed complete set of cars with tires of the main dimension 185 / 65R15 Pirelli Cinturato P1 and spare 185 / 65R15 Formula Energy, which is not certified, explained the Agency.

As explained by the representative of "AVTOVAZ", if the car is equipped with a full-size spare wheel, it should have the same tread pattern as the main wheels. If the car is equipped with so-called "tokatkoy", the tread pattern may be different, but the drive should be painted in bright color.

Now all cars will be marked as a spare tire with a limit of the maximum speed and distance that you can drive. To this wheel is not perceived as a permanent staff wheel, " - said the Agency interlocutor.

This is the second recall campaign of the Volga automobile plant since the beginning of the month - December 3, the company announced the recall of 1.7 thousand Lada Kalina, Granta and Priora in Russia due to the mismatch of the steering wheel and the driver's airbag module. As noted, the marking of the products, the compatibility of the driver's airbag and steering wheel module and the condition of the steering wheel frame will be checked on the vehicles. If necessary, the steering wheel will be replaced.

Lada Vesta is currently one of the most popular cars in Russia. In November, according to the Association of European business (AEB), AVTOVAZ was able to sell 9906 such sedans. For example, during the same period of 2017, 8066 Lada Vesta was sold on the Russian market. Thus, the car took second place in the list of the most popular models of November 2018.
