OREANDA-NEWS  The Board of Directors of AvtoVAZ approved the company's production plan for 2025 in the amount of 500 thousand cars, the investment program will amount to 45 billion rubles, the press service of the government of the Russian Federation reported.

The meeting of the automaker's board of directors was held by Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.

"AvtoVAZ's investment program for next year has been approved - according to the plan, it will exceed 45 billion rubles. The bulk of these funds will be used for the implementation of R&D on automotive projects, power units, as well as for the development of capacities. The approved production plan for 2025 assumes the production of 500 thousand cars," the message says.

This year, the company also plans to produce 500 thousand cars.

As noted in the message of the Cabinet of Ministers, AvtoVAZ this year solved a number of important issues of ensuring the technological sovereignty of its products.

"Today AvtoVAZ has about 1.65 thousand suppliers, more than 80% of which are Russian companies. The average localization level for the Lada model range exceeds 4.5 thousand points, this is the maximum indicator in the industry," the message says.
