OREANDA-NEWS. Southwest Airlines is carefully tracking Hurricane Matthew, which is affecting our operation in the Southeastern United States. We are modifying our operational plan to reflect changing conditions.

As of 5:00 PM CT, today Southwest Airlines has proactively canceled due to weather:

  • About 60 flights systemwide (of 3,700 scheduled) on Thursday, October 6, 2016;

Our main focus is on the Safety of our Customers and Employees, while making sure our flights operate safely to their destinations.
