OREANDA-NEWS. On September 20, 2016, State Commission on economy modernization of the Republic of Kazakhstan agreed on privatization approaches by means of an electronic auction. Among the assets are number of enterprises engaged in maintenance, repair of rolling stock, locomotives, freight forwarding services and other activities in the railway industry.

As part of a comprehensive privatization plan for 2016-2020 "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" JSC sells the following seven assets: 100% stake in "Bas-Balkhash 2004" LLP, "MAK-Ekibastuz" LLP, “Center of Transport Services” JSC, "Rauan Burabay" LLP, “Magistral – Kyzmeti” LLP as well as 50% stake in "KazElektroPrivod" LLP and 90% stake in “Regional Forward Logistics”.

The starting price of "Bas-Balkhash 2004" is 157 672 000 tenge, "MAK-Ekibastuz" LLP – 311 258 000 tenge, “Center of Transport Services” JSC – 3 548 544 000 tenge, "Rauan Burabay" LLP - 161 335 000 tenge, “Magistral – Kyzmeti” LLP – 350 261 000 tenge, 50% stake in "KazElektroPrivod" LLP - 301 250 000 tenge, 90% stake in “Regional Forward Logistics”- 853 691 000 tenge.

"Bas-Balkhash 2004" LLP carries out the repair and maintenance of rolling stock, provides services for the inspection of wheel pairs of rolling stock. It is located in Karaganda region.

"MAK-Ekibastuz" LLP repairs rolling stock equipment, manufactures spare parts. The enterprise is located in Pavlodar region.

“Center of Transport Services” JSC provides freight forwarding services. It is located in Astana.

"Rauan Burabay " LLP repairs and provides maintenance of locomotives. It is located in Akmola region.

“Magistral – Kyzmeti” LLP provides afforestation services to protect the railway facilities from adverse consequences of natural hazards. The enterprise is located in Astana.

"KazElektroPrivod" LLP produces automated turnouts. It is located in Almaty.

“Regional Forward Logistics” provides freight forwarding services. It is located in Moscow.

Web portal of the state property registry is an open trading platform that provides the maximum level of transparency and competition under the assets realization. Any legal entity can participate in the auction.

In order to work with web portal it is necessary to have a digital signature, by which a person can register on the portal, sign applications and protocols of auction results.

For registration on the website it is necessary to enter your personal data.

After that, in "all bidding" section you can enter search criteria and select the interested asset. The main documents of privatization assets are freely accessible in the web portal. They are memorandum of association, financial statements and the report on the asset evaluation. At the same time, the web portal provides information rooms the so-called Dataroom for the potential buyer to familiarize with assets (subsidiaries of "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC). Access to Dataroom may be obtained by any interested person after signing a non-disclosure agreement. Industry companies publish detailed information in DataRooms that allows each potential buyer to conduct complex legal, financial and technical expertise of the asset.
