OREANDA-NEWS. IRU participated in a Media Forum in Ashgabat, ahead of the UN Global Conference on Sustainable Transport, to be held on 26-27 November. IRU General Delegate to Eurasia, Dmitry Cheltsov, revealed work to encourage multilateral cooperation with the implementation of UN trade and transport facilitation instruments, promotion of the paperless eTIR transit system and IRU Academy programmes for professional training.

The Media Forum addressed representatives of 10 international organisations, along with press from 30 countries.
