OREANDA-NEWS. The Aktau port transferred almost 50% more cargo in August if compare with the results of the last few years. In particular, the metal which sent in the direction of the Islamic Republic of Iran, reached record levels in 159 thousand tons.

Previously, the average index of monthly transfer was about100 thousand tons. On the average, the daily transfer of the metal to the ship in the second half of August 2016 reached 6,700 tons compared to the usual 4,000 tons. These results were reached by the port at the first time in last 4 years. It was made a possible because of the coordinated work and cooperation of all participants of the transport process, including the companies which operate in the port.
