3E Company announced that it has augmented its 3ESC® supply chain compliance platform
OREANDA-NEWS. 3E Company, a leading provider of environmental health and safety (EH&S) compliance and information management services, today announced that it has augmented its 3ESC® supply chain compliance platform with new functionality to facilitate the efficient exchange of conflict minerals data across the global supply chain. 3ESC Supply Chain Solutions now offer automated Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) generation capabilities to help customers make informed choices about the materials and suppliers within their supply chains and comply with disclosure requirements, streamlining processes and saving time. 3E Company is a Verisk Analytics (Nasdaq:VRSK) business.
"Our end-to-end supply chain stewardship solution enables clients to gain greater visibility into the materials, products, and suppliers within their supply chains, improving their ability to identify and mitigate risk while driving innovation," said Tamie Webber, assistant vice president, Supply Chain Solutions, 3E Company. "We're proud to be able to help manufacturers and suppliers worldwide pursue socially responsible sourcing and compliance with conflict minerals regulations."
3ESC provides tools to assess the presence, origin, and use of conflict minerals at both the supplier and product level. This functionality is designed to help clients satisfy the obligations set forth in the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010, Section 1502, which requires manufacturers to report on their efforts to mitigate the risk that any tin, tantalum, tungsten, or gold (3TG) in their products originated from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining covered country and funded conflict or armed groups.
