OREANDA-NEWS. The first train on the new railway Dushanbe - Kurgan-Tube – Kulyab was led by locomotive TEZZ series №0300, issued by locomotive factory in Astana.

The new line was put into operation in Tajikistan in the end of August this year, and connects the south of the country with it’s capital city. During the new line construction were built three tunnels and eight bridges.

"Our four locomotive successfully operated Tajik railway in 2012. Earlier this year, between JSC "NC" KTZ" and "Rohi Ohani Tochikiston" was an agreement to supply two diesel locomotives “The Evolution” series to Tajikistan.  Currently one of the locomotive was  delivered"- said the acting Vice-President on technical issues of JSC "Locomotive Kurastyru zauyty" Victor Perminov.
