OREANDA-NEWS. Joint Stock Company Freight One (Freight One) has won the tender for transportation of 100 percent railway goods volume of Transneft-Logistics, LLC. Under the RUB 202 mln contract Freight One will perform 600 dispatches of the Company?s own universal and specialized platforms and gondolas, including goods support services both at the origin and at the destination.

Specialized wheeled and tracked vehicles, excavators, various equipment, metal structures and vessels will be delivered to Transneft production sites throughout the country.

«Cooperation with Transneft-Logistics will contribute to further development of Freight One?s competencies in providing integrated logistics services, including provision of railcars, development of loading schemes, arrangement of handling, and other 3PL services. The contract will also help the Company expand the client portfolio and the range of platform-transported goods,» said Alexander Sapronov, Executive Director of Freight One.

«For TNL as an integrated logistics operator, the main line of development is to create a company without transport assets of its own, following the modern trends in the logistics market. The long-term contract with Freight One will allow us to hedge risks and improve the economic efficiency of transportation for Transneft enterprises,» said Igor Derevitskiy, TNL?s Deputy General Director for Logistics.
