OREANDA-NEWS. 24-25 August, in Aktau The Union of Kazakhstan transport workers «KAZLOGISTICS» held an international conference with the participation of Caspian and Black Sea regions representatives with the theme: "Kazakhstan’s transit potential. Efficient logistics in the countries of the Caspian and Black Sea regions".

The event was attended by representatives Kazakhstan’s ministries and departments, JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy", the Eurasian Economic Commission and the railway administrations of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Iran, Lithuania, and other transport and logistics companies.

The conference participants discussed the potential of Kazakhstan, as a transit country, discussed the main challenges to be overcome in order to create an efficient logistic in the countries of the Caspian and Black Sea regions, and most importantly - they exchanged by views and information about the prospects of new competitive transport routes formation.

Within the framework of an international conference there was around table withthe theme: "The development of Eurasian transcontinental international transport routes. Pairing programs"Nurly Zhol" and "Economic zone- Silk Road" in the framework of the Eurasian economic integration". The participants discussed the issues of improving the efficiency of multimodal transport routes with the Caspian and Black Seas, TMTM development, work organization in reforming conditions, freighttraffic activityvia Aktau port and others.
