OREANDA-NEWS. In the first seven months of  2016 the number of the train accidents are reduced by 4% if compare to the same period of last year, the number of flaw - 10%, in special cases of flaw - 45%, other violations - by 9%.

This was aided by the implementation of functional security strategy in JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy", that’s was recommendation by “Oliver Wyman” consulting company, new methods for the calculation of damages, assessing the effectiveness of measures in railway traffic safety.

In the period from 8 to 14 August, the audit unit conducted more than 70 checks, during which revealed more than 500 remarks, the speed is limited on 14 station tracks, two way stations was closed for traffic.
