ITOCHU Announces Completion of Large-Scale Multi-Tenanted Logistics Centers
The I MISSIONS PARK Noda offers excellent access to the Kashiwa Interchange (approx. 11 km from the center) on the Joban Expressway, making it conveniently located for distribution to the Tokyo metropolitan area and a large portion of eastern Japan.
The I MISSIONS PARK Sakai is located in the Osaka Bay area, an ideal location for logistic facilities, and offers outstanding access to the Sanbo IC (approx. 1.5 km from the center) and Hanshin Expressway, allowing for local deliveries to Osaka City and Sakai City as well as deliveries to the greater Kinki area.
The two properties, both of which have four floors above ground, are logistics facilities for multiple tenants equipped with loading bays for trucks and ramp ways. They are not only designed to address the diverse needs of many industries, but feature an environmentally friendly design and are equipped with green parking lots and solar power generation facilities. In addition, the I MISSIONS PARK Sakai uses LED lighting throughout the entire building.
ITOCHU has set out a policy of actively developing multi-tenanted logistics centers like these two properties to address the future needs of customers and changes in the supply chain. It is currently working on a new property in Tsukubamirai City, Ibaraki Prefecture (Floor area: 27,000 m2, Completion: Spring 2017). It has also started development in Adachi Ward, Tokyo (Floor area: 28,000 m2, Completion: Spring 2018). The accumulation of logistics and real estate towards the formation of a logistics and real estate REIT is already expected to reach a total project amount of 15 billion yen. Moving forward, we intend to accelerate investment.
