OREANDA-NEWS. Michael Nielsen, who heads IRU’s work in the European Union from its Brussels office, has been appointed Chief Advocacy Officer.
The road transport sector, for both passengers and goods, continues to face rapid evolution, with market, regulatory and business challenges everywhere. This newly created post will consolidate IRU’s crucial role in representing the industry and standing up for member’s interests all over the world.
In his new role, Mr Nielsen will also spearhead efforts to put road transport and IRU’s voice at the heart of global discourse on economic and social development, as well as safety and sustainability.
