Aeroflot plans to resume flights to the Issyk-Kul coast

OREANDA-NEWS Aeroflot intends to resume regular flights to the international airport on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul from May 2, 2023. This was announced on Friday by the press service of JSC Manas International Airport, which includes all major air harbors of Kyrgyzstan.
"The Russian airline Aeroflot plans to open regular passenger flights on the route Moscow - Tamchi - Moscow in May of this year," the message says.
According to preliminary data, Aeroflot will make its first flight to Issyk-Kul from Moscow in 2023 on May 2.
"It is expected that flights from Issyk-Kul to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport will be operated twice a week," the press service added.
Currently, from three international airports in Kyrgyzstan, which are located in the cities of Osh and Bishkek, as well as in the village of Tamchi, Issyk-Kul region, you can fly to almost two dozen cities in Russia.
Located in the Issyk-Kul region, the airport is mainly loaded in the spring and autumn season, when the peak of the tourist season is observed on the lake shore. During this period, passenger liners from Russian cities, including Aeroflot, as well as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, regularly land or take off there.
