About 840 cars have accumulated at the entrance to the EU from Belarus

OREANDA-NEWS The queue for entry into the EU from Belarus is about 840 cars, according to the State Border Committee.
"About 840 passenger cars are expected to enter the EU," the agency said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel.
According to the border committee, as of 10:00 a.m., the busiest route to the European Union passes through the Polish checkpoint Terespol (Brest), where 790 passenger cars are waiting to enter the neighboring territory, and its control services have issued 33% of the norm in two days. As reported, 8 buses are registered in front of the specified border crossing.
The ministry notes that 30 and 20 cars are waiting to enter Lithuania in front of the Myadininkai (from the Belarusian side — Kamenny Log) and Shalchininkai (Benyakoni) checkpoints, respectively.
"The accumulation of freight transport is recorded only in the Latvian and Lithuanian directions. More than 160 heavy trucks are registered in front of the Latvian border crossing "Paternieki" ("Grigorovshchyna"). The neighboring side took 31% of the trucks from the norm into its territory in two days," the border committee emphasizes.
It is also reported that 10 trucks are waiting to enter Lithuania before the Lithuanian Shalchinikai (Benyakoni).
