OREANDA-NEWS A bus carrying Russian and Belarusian tourists was involved in an accident in the Manavgat district of the Turkish province of Antalya, the IHA news agency reports.

"As a result of a traffic accident that occurred early in the morning, a minibus that was supposed to deliver Russian and Belarusian tourists from Alanya hotels to Antalya airport was involved in an accident at the entrance to the interchange of the Democracy Bridge on the Manavgata ring road," the message says.

According to the agency, the car crashed into a concrete pillar, the force of the impact was such that its front part completely collapsed. As a result of the accident, many people were injured, including the driver. They were taken to the nearest hospitals. The exact number of victims is not known. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
