OREANDA-NEWS. Russian dealers of Volkswagen sold 8057 cars in September, which is 15% more compared to the last year. As noted, this is the best result of monthly sales since December of 2014. In the first nine months of 2017, sales of the brand in our country grew by 18% and they were 62,094 cars, reports the press service of Volkswagen.

The Polo sedan remains the best seller of the brand in the Russian market - on this model, 4517 buyers (-2%) stopped their choice in September. Sales of Volkswagen Tiguan doubled and they were 2459 cars of the first and second generation of this model. In addition, the Volkswagen Touareg SUV was sold in a quantity of 382 units. Volkswagen participates in government car loan programs, including "First Car" and "Family Car", as well as "Volkswagen Garant". Since the beginning of the year, 6788 vehicles have been sold through state support programs through Volkswagen Bank Rus.
