OREANDA-NEWS.  December 13,  JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" held a solemn meeting devoted to the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, Chairman of CJSC "Azerbaijani Railways" Javid Gurbanov, head of GUP "Rohi ohani Tojikiston" Komil Mirzoaliev took part in the meeting.

A.Mamin, after the congratulation with the 25th anniversary of Independence, underlined that "under the leadership of the Leader of the nation N. A. Nazarbayev for a short historical period has achieved considerable success in state-building, economic development, maintaining harmony and peace in society".

A.Mamin noted the key role of transport-logistic complex in the task of Kazakhstan's joining to the top 30 developed countries of the world.

He noted  "JSC “NC “KTZ” entrusted with the implementation of the country strategy on development of transit potential which help to develop infrastructure and competence and expand partnerships at the global market".

The head of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” K.Alpysbayev made a speech where he stressed the role of the President in the development of transport-logistic complex of Kazakhstan and its entry into the global transportation network.

"To ensure internal communication between the regions, increase of export and transit potential of the country Company had been built new railways with a total length of 2,500 km," said K.Alpysbayev.

From 2008 were updated more than 1,000 locomotives, 37.5 thousand freight cars, 1,500 passenger cars, repaired 4 700 km of railways.

In the framework of the state policy of industrialization and import substitution has organized its own production in partnership with world leaders.

Implemented a Program of organization of high-speed passenger traffic. All the major cities of Kazakhstan linked by a network of high-speed passenger routes.

By order of the President  JSC "NC "KTZ" carries out tasks on development of transport and logistics, transit potential and global infrastructure integration.

Currently, in addition to the railways Company provides marine transportation, renders services of transportation and logistics centers, as well as sea port, airport and road infrastructure.

The Company is implementing infrastructure projects under the program "Nurly Zhol", participates in the implementation of the Plan "100 steps".

Completed construction of "dry port" and infrastructure in the SEZ "Khorgos – Eastern gates". Introduced the first starting complex of the Kuryk port and the second lines of the line Almaty-Shu.

On the eve of EXPO – 2017 the Company is building a new international passenger terminal of the airport and a modern railway station in Astana.

According to K.Alpysbayev "working to attract new cargo flows helped to stabilize the negative trends of the fall turnover, which occurred in 2013".

"Further progress in global transport and logistics market depends on the ability of JSC "NC "KTZ" to meet the high demands on the quality and effectiveness of the service in the face of tough competition," - said the head of the Company.

Alpysbayev noted the coordinated work of the whole team of JSC "NC "KTZ" and informed about measures of social support.
