Flydubai seeks to remove travel barriers and promote cross-cultural connectivity across its growing network, and has been successful since its launch in 2009 in:
· Access to a wide network of more than 90 destinations in 44 countries
· The opening of 67 destinations that were not connected to Dubai by direct air line or were none of the national carriers based in Dubai direct flights to them.
Flydubai has a fleet of 58 single-aisle Boeing 737-800s and expects to receive 100 new aircraft by 2023
The airline's flexibility and responsiveness has contributed to Dubai's economic development, in line with the vision of the emirate's government, and enhancing trade and tourism traffic with markets that have previously suffered from poor or lack of air links.
