OREANDA-NEWS  In 2022, 200 thousand people passed the law exam in Russia, which is about 18% of the total number of those who studied at a driving school, follows from the data of the State Traffic Inspectorate, which was analyzed by TASS.

According to the agency, last year more than 1.1 million people received driver's licenses, in 2021 — 1.2 million, including 241 thousand people (20%) who passed the license exam the first time. In total, 1,359,603 driver's licenses were issued in Russia in 2022.

Last year, car inspectors conducted a total of 7 million exams for candidates for drivers, including 3.3 million theoretical and almost 3.6 million in practical traffic conditions. 35% of people managed to pass the theory the first time, 12% of candidates passed the practice the first time, the agency reports.
