OREANDA-NEWS  Wildberries launches the sale of over-the-counter medicines across the country, the company told RIA Novosti.

In 2021, the company launched the sale of over-the-counter medicines in a test mode. Only residents of Moscow and the Moscow region could buy them.

"Wildberries launches the sale of over-the-counter medicines on the platform throughout Russia. The innovation gives customers access to a wide range of medicines that can be purchased without a doctor's prescription," the company said on Wednesday.

Sellers will be able to sell such products on the marketplace only if they have a license for retail sale of medicines, after careful verification by the site of such documents. The storage, assembly and delivery of goods in this category are carried out by the sellers themselves. "In this case, the platform connects the seller directly with the buyer," the company explained.

They added that the company constantly checks the online storefront and monitors the prevention of the sale of goods prohibited by law and the rules of the platform.
