OREANDA-NEWS. Despite the removal of restrictions and the formal renewal of the holiday season, many sanatoriums, hotels and other accommodation facilities are not ready to begin welcoming tourists.
According to the "Opora Rossii" organization, 20 out of 65 health resorts are now working in Sochi and 2 out of 50 in Tatarstan. Readiness to accommodate guests from July 1, officially confirmed only about half of the hotels in the Crimea. In the Krasnodar Region at the moment, 90 of more than 200 objects are working, in the Stavropol Region - 30 out of 124.
Market participants are afraid that 10-30% of accommodation facilities may not open at all this season. The work of hotels is complicated by recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor on mass testing of personnel for coronavirus, providing additional references, purchase of disinfectants. "Hoteliers, who did not keep their employees on the staff, can not hire them now. Moreover, all of them have to pass COVID-19 tests after being hired," explained Sergei Romashkin, General Director of Dolphin Tour Operator.
As Rostourism reported earlier, by the beginning of July all popular tourist destinations, which stopped working due to coronavirus, will be opened in Russia.
