OREANDA-NEWS  China is interested in Russian agricultural products, the country does not have a biased attitude towards Russian exporters, said Alexander Dvoynykh, head of the Agrarian Committee of the Federation Council.

The delegation of the Agrarian Committee of the Federation Council, headed by the Double, visited China on a working visit on June 13-16.

"Naturally, China is interested in Russian products: it is interested in meat, vegetables, and fruits. We discussed approaches related to requirements and exchanged certain issues behind closed doors. It is important that we heard each other, it is important that there is no bias towards Russian producers," Dvoynykh said during a press conference at the Rossiya Segodnya media group.

The senator noted that China is friendly to Russian exporters of agricultural products.

"We discussed the work of the Rosselkhoznadzor, Chinese colleagues, and customs requirements. A meeting was also held at the customs authorities with the head of the Association of Meat Producers of the Russian Federation, and a very constructive approach and willingness to remove those barriers that hinder the supply of domestic products and the development of our export potential were noted," the senator shared the results of the visit.
