The Russians Began to Buy Drinks from Coca-Cola by 18% More for the Year

OREANDA-NEWS. Sales volume of the Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (Coca-Cola HBC) in Russia in 2021 increased by 18.3% compared to 2020 and reached 2.1 billion liters. This was said in a statement.
Most of all, Russians last year bought energy drinks, sodas for adults and drinks without sugar and with a low content of it.
Coca-Cola HBC's net profit increased by 31.9% to €547.2 million. The company's share price also increased and amounted to €1.5, while in 2020 it was at the level of €1.14.
Net revenue of Coca-Cola HBC also increased and amounted to €7.168 billion. The total volume of products sold amounted to 13.7 billion liters, which is 13% more than a year earlier.
Coca-Cola Hellenic is one of the largest bottling and distribution companies in the world for beverages under The Coca-Cola Company trademarks. In Russia, the company is represented by Coca-Cola HBC Eurasia LLC.
At the end of January, several soda producers announced that prices for their products could rise by almost a quarter due to higher prices for raw materials. As they say in the message, in February the prices for production can rise. Coca-Cola, PepsiCo and Sady Pridonya will raise the price tag by 7-8%, Shishkin Les and Yakobs - by 20-25%.
