The main suppliers of meat to Russia are named

OREANDA-NEWS By the end of 2023, Belarus, Brazil and Paraguay became the main suppliers of meat to Russia. RIA Novosti came to this conclusion based on the analysis of open statistics.
In total, 586 thousand tons were purchased. Meat and offal of cattle became the basis of imports, accounting for 65 percent. Poultry meat and offal account for 32 percent.
According to the Rosselkhoznadzor data, Minsk accounted for 293 thousand tons. Next, according to the Comtrade platform and national statistical services, is Brazil, which supplied 111 thousand tons, Paraguay (42 thousand tons), Argentina (almost 42 thousand tons) and China (19 thousand tons). Ten thousand tons of meat and less were sent to Russia by India, Uruguay, Turkey and Colombia.
Russia's own meat production reached 11.7 million tons last year. Including 5.3 million tons of poultry meat, 4.8 million tons of pork and 1.7 million tons of beef.
Earlier it was reported that in April, the consumption of chicken and beef in the country decreased by 23 and 34 percent, respectively. According to the "Contour.Market", consumers began to choose less expensive turkey and pork.
