OREANDA-NEWS   The drone market in Russia can grow by about 25 times in a few years, up to a trillion rubles, this opinion was expressed by Pavel Bulat, a member of the AeroNet market working group of the NTI. "The drone market in Russia is actively developing, and several peaks of active growth are waiting for it in the next 10 years. The first explosive growth is expected in 2024-2026, about 25 times. Now we can estimate the market at about 13-14 billion rubles, and it can jump up to a trillion," the expert noted.

According to him, such growth will be primarily associated with the elimination of regulatory barriers and the mass use of drones in the field of simple things, for example, in photography. A parallel peak will occur in 2024-2025 in the field of agriculture, Bulat believes. Such expectations, in his opinion, are associated with the hope of eliminating the technical problems of creating vehicles.

"The biggest breakthrough is expected in 2026-2027. These will be vertically flying air taxis and transport drones with a carrying capacity of about 500 kilograms," Bulat believes. Then, according to the expert, saturation will occur, and the growth rate of the market will slow down. In addition, he noted, it is important to remember that several points are important for the consumer in the drone market: the acceptable cost of equipment and delivery and the low noise level of aircraft.

"If all these conditions are met simultaneously, we can expect explosive growth of the market. And by 2035, there will be more than 2 million flying drones and several thousand unmanned aircraft in the air," Bulat concluded.
