OREANDA-NEWS. The cost of one of the two new drugs for coronavirus is 12 320 rubles. It's about Russian medical preparation Areplivir produced by Promomed company. The price of the drug was revealed by the company's general director Andrei Mladentsev.

The package of the drug will contain 40 pills of 200 milligrams each.

The only restrictions on the sale of this drug will be doctors’ recommendations. So it will be sold with a doctor’s prescription in pharmacies across the Russian Federation.

Areplivir will be found in drug stores since Septamber, 21, as the chairman of the board of directors of Promomed Peter Belyi said. But Andrei Mladentsev said that it is impossible to deliver it to all the Russian pharmacies at once. He added that the producers have just got the registration certificate for this medical preparation, and have to complete the appearance of packages with additional information, with output parametres in particular. But in spite of some shipping difficulties the producing company is doing its best to bring the drug to the pharmacies throughout Russia, because the company itself is interested in fast supply of the pharmacies with this long-expected drug for coronavirus.
