OREANDA-NEWS. Official Skoda dealers in Belarus from May 5 temporarily suspend the sale of new cars of the Czech brand. Service of Skoda cars, including warranty obligations, continues in full, the company «FelOkt-service», the official distributor of Skoda in the Republic, said in a statement.
The suspension of sales of Skoda cars on the Belarusian market is connected with the entry into force of the resolution of the Council of Ministers on the introduction of sanctions against the companies Skoda, Liqui Moly and Beiersdorf, which refused to sponsor the 2021 IIHF World Championship if it were held in Belarus, writes the «Sputnik» portal. The Council of Ministers noted, that this decision was taken to ensure the protection of national interests, as well as taking into account the unfriendly actions of these companies against Belarus.
